Midwestern Wind Energy: Moving It to Markets

The purpose of this event is to:

* Discuss actions needed to implement transmission elements of the Midwestern Governors’ Energy Security and Climate Stewardship Platform for the Midwest; and
* Explore the contributions that Midwestern wind power can make towards achieving 20% wind power in the region and nationwide, as well as steps needed to achieve this potential.

Event sponsored by Midwestern Governors Association, in conjunction with the National Wind Coordinating Collaborative, CapX2020, and a wide range of stakeholders: Western Area Power Administration, Wind on the Wires, Iberdrola Renewables, American Wind Energy Association, AEP, Indiana Michigan Power, ITC, Varnum Riddering Schmidt Howlett, NextEnergy, National Conference of State Legislatures, Great Lakes Wind Collaborative, National Association of State Energy Officials, and Otter Tail.
